Journey Together has been officially revealed! The set features the return of "Owner's Pokémon," which are now officially called "Trainer's Pokémon."
Journey Together will be released on March 28th as our SV9 set. Prereleases will take place from March 15th through March 23rd.
The Elite Trainer Box will include an N's Zorua promo; as usual, the Pokémon Center version will include an extra stamped copy.
Each booster box of this set is now called an "Enhanced Booster Box" and includes a copy of an N's Reshiram promo with a Journey Together stamp. This means that box toppers are back! The price of the booster box remains the same. (In Europe, there may be booster boxes without the promo, but this is still under investigation.)
The set will contain:
- Over 180 cards (159 cards excluding secret rares)
- 4 Trainer's Pokémon ex
- Over 40 Trainer's Pokémon
- 16 Pokémon ex
- 11 Illustration Rare Pokémon
- 6 Special Illustration Rare Pokémon
- 3 hyper rare golden cards
- Over 30 Pokémon and Trainer cards with special illustrations
Our Journey Together set will be based on two Japanese sources:
- SV9 Battle Partners , which is set to release in Japan on January 24. The set will contain 100 cards, excluding secret rares (we know of at least 28 secret rares). It will include Trainer Pokémon for Iono, Lillie, N, and Hop.
- The remaining ~50 new cards from November's ex Starter Deck Generations , like Amoonguss ex , Blaziken ex , and Mimikyu ex . (The other 40 new cards are already included in our Prismatic Evolutions set, like Pikachu ex , Tyranitar ex , and Lugia ex .)
